“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Romans 5:19
God can take the smallest seed of obedience and yield the greatest Kingdom results. All He needs is our actions, not our lip-service. I appreciate the love and kind words that devotional readers have expressed in gratitude for my yes to God. The Lord has used this ministry to change lives, including mine. But what about you, my sister? Who is thanking God for your “Yes”? Is anyone deeply grateful for your obedience?
You may feel like your contribution and your supply in His Body is insignificant, but never underestimate the seemingly small task the Lord has given you. Your obedience to God and your “Yes” will yield great kingdom results!
Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking so clearly to me. Forgive me for any disobedience in my life. Forgive me for every time I’ve told you yes in my prayer closet, but no in my actions. Help me to obey you and honor you with my life. Use me in my home, church and community. Help me do what you’re asking of me and I trust you will be glorified. Whether I understand your instructions or not doesn’t matter. Help me obey you because you’re my King. I ask you to sit on the throne of my heart and reign in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
