God is Preparing You

“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:4

Where is God’s man for me? Where’s my Boaz, my Mr. Right and my knight in shining armor? When we are waiting for our future spouse, it can seem as though it’s taking an eternity. We’ve already made plans and the delay is messing up our plans, because in our minds, we were supposed to be married by now. So how does God respond? He says the same thing He’s been saying since the beginning, “Rest in Me and wait patiently for Me (see Psalm 37:7).”

My sister, God is preparing you. While you may think He is moving too slow, let Him finish healing you, enriching you, growing you and refining you. He will present you to your husband in His perfect timing. Marriage is no play thing. It is serious business that you have to be physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually equipped to handle.

The job of a man isn’t to fill a void in your life or complete you. You are complete in God. He satisfies you and makes you feel good about you. Impatience can cause us to fall for the imitation that often comes before the real thing. You don’t want someone that looks good and sounds good, but yet something just isn’t right. You want someone with a different spirit like Joshua. Someone with a heart for God like David. Someone that will fit you like a hand in glove, who will be your bestfriend and your greatest source of support and encouragement in good times and bad. You want someone you can be yourself around and who pushes you to be all that God called to be. God can give you someone that will love Him more than he loves you and who will love you more than he love himself.

Maybe you are willing to settle for whatever you can get, but don’t settle. No matter what your past has been and no matter how many children you may have, you deserve a good Godly man. If Jesus saw you as worth dying for, God has a man that will see you as worth marrying and worth caring for.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for encouraging me. You love me and only want the best for me. I believe I am ready to be a wife to the man you have for me, but help me wait on your perfect timing. Prepare me for that blessed man and help me recognize when you bring him into my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  8. Amen, waiting on my Boaz on my David. I do believe he is preparing me for 16 yrs now. After my ex husband pasted away I left a release because I had been so angry he was unfaithful. I am glad I forgave him before he passed leaving nothing unfinished. God knows my calling, I have raised my child, she is serving the Lord as a minister. I believe God had me wait for His timing not mine. 🙏🏽🕊❤️✝️

Please pray for her, her name is Lynerose has been through a lot and she’z almost giving up, feeling like God is taking tooooo long to settle her, her friends are settling but her.

Thanks gal, Mungu akubariki (God bless you) greetings from Nairobi Kenya.

  18. Thank you for this encouraging word! One is confirmation of what God has been telling me. And two God reminds me that single people are not forgotten. God bless you!

  19. I read this yesterday and it seems as if I have who God sent to me
Yet God showed me last night I am His Bride
He is coming for us who believe
My husband has been preparing me for His return
Cause what is done here is done in heaven
Being rebellious disobedient will not be welcome into heaven
Yet God also showed me we won’t me married in heaven we are all the same our spirits are all the same to praise Him all day everyday
Just cause you are waiting for a earthly husband letting Jesus be my husband I will respect my husband and love him just as I Love Jesus and God will ignite the intamacy with HIM as well as my husband
I am so excited for what I have seen I am probably not explaining it right but love intimacy wrapped all in Jesus 💕

  20. I have learned that FATHER STILL KNOWS BEST. Because HE made me HE knows everything it takes to keep me. GOD gave me a man that loved me beyond any other love I have ever experienced on this earth. My husband was GODS’ EXPRESSION of love for me on this earth that I could touch. GODS’ mission for him was completed as I learned that it should never have to hurt to love someone. Since GOD IS LOVE I will wait patiently for HIS best. My husband went HOME to live with the LORD on June 30th 2009. I am 73 years of age and THE LORD has placed in my spirit and in my heart that before I leave this earth he is preparing my heart and my new husband to walk the rest of his and my life with another is HIS son. Thank you sis for the confirmation.
