He is There to Comfort You

“He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us” 2 Corinthians 1:4, NLT.

One day a woman walked into a crowded room. Immediately her eyes found a place in the corner and she went to have a seat. The chair was hard, but sturdy. She came to appreciate how it held her up. In this crowded room filled with people from every walk of life, she felt alone. She whispered to herself,

Lord, I know You hear my voice
Oh how I need your hand
bring peace into my soul
help me understand

Soon after she whispered these words, she felt a gentle touch on her shoulder. God had sent someone to comfort her. No one knew that she was in pain, but God did. No one knew of her loneliness, but God did. Her whispers resounded loudly in heaven. He had heard her cry and had come to her aid.

Your whispers resound loudly in heaven. God hears your prayers and He will answer. He will send His ministering angels to comfort you and give you peace. Always remember, the Holy Spirit is your Comforter, the Word of God is your consolation, and your brothers and sisters in Christ are your spiritual family who God will use to help you along the way.

He’s saying today by His Holy Spirit: “My love. I hear your voice. I will guide you with My hand. I will give you peace in your soul and I will help you understand.”

Prayer: Thank you, Father, for speaking to my heart. I receive your words of love and comfort. I pray you comfort me by your Holy Spirit and give me supernatural peace in my soul. Strengthen me, Lord. Give me wisdom and understanding. I love you and I thank you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Oh Father God, I thank you for hearing my prayers and using DOTK as the avenue in which you responded.

I checked for the devotion, it had not posted. I went into prayer just crying out to God to hear me, to reveal himself to me. I know He’s real, but was feeling like my prayers just were not getting to Him. My life right now seems like it’s in shambles and I was just pleading for him to show Himself to me. Let me know He’s hearing me. I’m seeking Him, but not feeling like He’s hearing me so I started questioning if whether or not I’m seeking him with my whole heart and if not teach me how to do so. I finished my prayer and checked DOTK again and my God, He heard me!!! Now my tears are tears of joy because I know He is hearing my prayers. Lord I thank you because you are a good God. I pray and ask that you continue to bless this ministry, bless Kesha and her family and may she always be odedient to your leading because her obedience is helping to set the captive free. I love you & I thank you, In Jesus Name Amen!!!

  2. Anonymous said my words better than I could have. I feel like Satan has been attacking my family for months. I pray, I rebuke, I examine. To no avail. Is this a season for mourning? I am fervently praying and acknowledging God’s blessings and strength over my family immediately. Gid hears tge prayers if His faithful and Righteous, and I am made Righteous through Jesus Christ. We serve a loving God who only wants good for us according to Jeremiah 29:11. He is our shield, abd our way maker, our Co.forter and our deliverer. Praise God. Hallelujah. Amen.

    1. ““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.””
      ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17:7-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

      1. My heart has been so troubled over the last two days – exactly as the woman in this Devotional and this is a blessed, timely and much needed word of encouragement. Thank you Jesus and thank you and God bless you always Kesha 🙏🏽❤️

  3. Thank YOU For Always Comforting Me Dear LORD…..I Will Always Pay It Forward When YOU Lead Me To

  4. As of late I’ve been feeling heavy with frustration, growing weary in well doing, faith fatigued, questioning WHAT MORE DOES GOD WANT FROM ME?!!
I was leaving out of the grocery store and it was drizzling, this lady with a huge umbrella was getting out of her vehicle, initially I was like it’s not even raining that hard and as our paths crossed she turned and covered me with her umbrella.

    Me: “Do I know you?”
    She replied: “NO”
I realized she was sheltering me from the rain, I responded “GOD BLESS YOU, I’m not having a good day!”
She replied “I know, what’s your name, may I pray with you?”
    I shouted “YES!!!”
She prayed, gave me a hug and turned and walked away!!!
I began in that moment to ask GOD to bless her, Thanked GOD and I went to work serving and pouring into those “not having a good day!”

THANK YOU GOD for your angels and you hear your children!!!!🙌🏽

  8. Father, I give You all the glory, honor, and praise!!! Thanking You, for Your daily comfort and peace.🙌🙌🙌
Praising You, God, this morning because still feasting on Your Word Sunday. The message was: Signed, Sealed, and Delivered. I thanked the messenger because it blessed me so. I had got something else, but You gave me this today. Because knowing that You signed my name in the Lambs Book of Life, then, You sealed it with Your blood. Then, You delivered me from the punishment of sin, for becoming sin for me taking my place as I have accepted You.💃💃💃
Your Holy Spirit gave me the ultimate comfort this morning as You brought this to my mind and I had to worship You for Your goodness!!!

Sister Kesha, thank you for being an instrument for our Lord and Saviour.🙏💕💐💕💐

  9. I really love this devotional because it encourages me to continue to operate in the prophetic. In the past year or so, I’ve started to do this. Usually, God will have me go up to someone in my church or community and give them a word specific for them. For example, one time I was sitting next to a woman and I sensed a heaviness in her spirit. God spoke to me that she had lost someone. I also heard, mom. I went over and greeted her with a smile and a hug. Then, I asked her if she had lost someone. She said, yes, my mom. I was able to pray with and encourage her. A few Sundays later, this same woman, God spoke to me that she had been in an abusive marriage when she was young. I went and asked her if she had been in an abusive marriage when she was young, she said yes, when she was 19 and I believe through her twenties. God gave me a special word from Isaiah 54 to give her. This devotional encourages me because sometimes I get afraid to operate in the prophetic wondering what if I hear God wrong? This devotional encourages me to continue to move in faith because the greater risk is missing an opportunity to give strength and encouragement to someone in desperate need of a powerful confirmation that will cause someone to run and do something that He has placed on their heart to do, etc. Obeying God and a walk across a room can change someones life or give them that much needed confirmation. And remember, God can teach us from our mistakes if we keep an open heart to learn from him. I hope this encourages someone here who is needing inspiration to operate in the gifts of encouragement and or the prophetic. This devotional encouraged me. Love you Kesha and the DOTK family. 💜🙏🏽💜

    1. I meant to say simply, you stepping out in faith and operating in your gifts could give someone the encouragement and strength they need or a powerful confirmation that they need to act upon something God put on their heart to do. Also, I learned from someone to ask a question instead of just going into what God said. This is especially good for beginner people operating in the prophetic. That way, you don’t say God said or told you and actually find out that your wrong because what you said God said does not pertain to them. In other words, you missed God or heard him unclearly. I also leaned that it is okay to say, “I believe” God is saying or “I believe, “I sense” God saying.” And make it clear that “you believe.” Be humble. Being prideful can be damaging to your spiritual well-being and others. So far, since I have been operating in the prophetic I have been wrong one time. And that time was possibly because I heard God, but interpreted what He was saying and it’s application for the person wrong. I learned from that mistake that at times I need to wait and be more prayerful before I give a word, if I sense the Holy Spirit telling me not to move right away. I even learned what it feels like in my spirit when something is off (I am not hearing or interpreting a message clearly).

    1. Yes! Dear Anonymous Who Operates in the Prophetic and Encouragement
