He will complete the work He started in you.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:6, NKJV.

It’s not easy when you feel like so much is against you, but He will finish what He started in you. You may feel you’ve got a long way to go and how in the world you will get there, but He will finish what He started in you. He will do it. Not you. The stress comes when we place the responsibility of new chapters in our lives on ourselves instead of the Lord. The responsibility of finishing our life story on ourselves instead of on the Lord. You will feel much better as you take the responsibility and pressure off of yourself and let it rest in God’s hand, His power, His sovereignty, and in the love He has for you, His son.

You just continue to seek Him and keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. The Author and Finisher of your book. He’s going to bless you. He’s going to prosper and deliver you. He’s going to finish it.

Prayer: Father, thank you for Who you are in my life. You are my Finisher, and I will bless your Name. What you’ve started in me, I believe you are going to finish in me. You will do it, not me. Help me keep seeking you, live free of care, and leave it in Your hands. I feel a lot better. I choose to trust You will get me to every destination you have for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
