He will help you trust Him

“For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” Hebrews 10:36

God knows that you are believing Him for many things: to heal, to save, to provide, to deliver, and your list goes on. You want God to be God in your life and to respond. But the problem is, you go to bed worrying and you wake up worrying. Maybe you haven’t slept for a full night in years because you are thinking constantly about whether God is going to answer your prayers and when. But I say to you the same word God spoke to me early one morning, “You have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise!”

Trust that God is who He say He is and He will do what He said He will do. Even if it takes many years, He will do what He’s promised you. Don’t let go of your faith just because you don’t see anything yet. God has heard you and in His perfect timing He will come through for you. Be patient while He works. No one rushes a surgeon to perform heart surgery. No one yells through the door for a brain surgeon to hurry up in working on their relative’s brain. No, we want doctors to take their time because we want it done right. Let God take as long as He wants to take. Honor His timing and His command to be patient. He is setting you up to see His goodness like you’ve never seen before. When He’s done, it’s going to be just like you pictured it.

Prayer: Father God, thank you Lord for speaking directly to my heart and to my situation. Please forgive me for worrying and stressing out. I need help trusting in you and waiting patiently for you. Help me understand even more how much you love me and care about me. Help me to believe when I don’t see anything with my natural eyes. I’ve done all I know to do. Help me to keep standing. Help me to rest in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  10. Thank you! The Lord definitely spoke to me today. For most of this year I’ve been focusing on “trusting” the Lord in ALL things. I have been praying for something for many years and this was the reminder I needed to keep on praying even though I haven’t seen the results I’ve prayed and hoped for just yet. God bless! ❤

  11. I thank you Lord that you always know exactly what word I need and when I need it. I DO trust you! I get tired and impatient sometimes, but your Holy Spirit reminds me of Your promises and my strength is renewed. When my Chris was in the hospital after two strokes, you woke me in that hospital room and told me he was going to have a “Lazarus” moment..that you were going to raise him up. We came home months later and you woke me again. This time showing me a vision of what you meant…confirming to me Your word. Now, five years later, I still recall vividly that vision and have shared it many times as a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness. I’m still trusting and believing for that miracle each day and trying not to be impatient, but wait on Your perfect timing!
