It doesn’t have to make sense.

“The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God” 1 Corinthians 1:18, NLT.

My sister, it doesn’t have to make sense to everyone why you’re saving yourself for marriage. Let people make whatever choices they’re going to make, but you do what God has told you to do in honoring Him with your body and trusting Him with your future. If you and that blessed man honor the Lord while dating, you will watch God honor you in your marriage.

It doesn’t have to make sense to everyone why you are honoring God with your marriage the way you are. You’re not letting outside influences destroy what you two have built. You’re safeguarding your marriage by not entertaining the wrong things. You’re keeping the enemy out and you’re keeping love in. God sees how you’re honoring Him and He’s going to bless you richly.

It doesn’t have to make sense to everyone why your children can’t go to that house party, why they can’t go to the sleepover, why they can’t listen to that particular song. You will be held accountable for the type of parent you chose to be. Parent your children God‘s way, and God will bless you to see the fruit of your prayers, and the fruit of your commitment, love and sacrifice.

It doesn’t have to make sense to everyone why you don’t drink and why you don’t smoke. Let people do whatever they want to do while you honor God with your body and put pleasing Him over pleasing yourself. Live God’s way and you will watch God bless you with a vibrancy and a radiant glow.

Let people will say whatever they want to say and think whatever they want to think. It’s not about pleasing them, it’s about pleasing God. Keep honoring God with your life, my sister. He is getting ready to honor you in ways that will bring you to tears.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking to me today. Help me honor you in how I live. I trust you to do what you promised and cause me to see great fruit in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Father God, thank you for speaking to me today. There are some things in my life now that don’t make sense…But I know that You’ve spoken to me regarding them. Help me honor you in how I live. I trust you to do what you promised and cause me to see great fruit in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
