“Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness” Hebrews 3:7-8, ESV.
There are things you only get to experience when you surrender to God completely. There are things He reveals only to those who are all in, fully committed. My sister, if you are on the fence, you won’t experience the full life God has for you. It costs all of you.
If you’re looking around at others who are receiving from the Lord, look closer, and you will see a surrendered life. There’s never a reason to envy another believer because you, too, have the power to surrender. It comes down to a decision only you can make. You can either remain where you are or completely dive into things of God with reckless abandonment. You can either stay on the fence, or you can take the leap of faith and watch how God causes you to soar!
Our Father God is saying, “No more games. No more. Now is the time of salvation. I know you hear Me, My daughter. Do not harden your heart. Today is the day to give Me all of you, and you will receive all of Me. All of Me is waiting to be enjoyed by you. Today is the day when you must choose life or death. Blessings or cursings. Choose life.”
Prayer: Father God, I give my life to you. My past, my present, and my future. My heart, my mind, and my soul. I give you everything I have, and I receive all of you. All of your love, all of your grace, and all of your Spirit in me. Completely pour yourself into me, Lord, I come to you empty, and I’m determined to live full and free in you! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
(Read Matthew 16:24-25; Deuteronomy 30:19)
Thank you for this devotional. I do often ask myself why haven’t I received what I see in others. I thought I was surrendering to God. I need to be still and fully surrender.
Me too. I still have things in my heart that I havent let go of but I’m working on it.
Thank you for this. I never have commented before but where you say today is the day for obedience and blessing ….I have a question about that. I have been struggling with something I am seeking him to help me let go of. If it doesn’t happen today but maybe soon then that doesn’t mean he’s gonna come down and curse me, correct?
Correct!! God does not condemn His children. He will discipline us, but He will not curse or punish you. That is a lie from the pit of hell, and that is what Satan wants you to believe. We all fall short in some way, that is why we need God’s grace in those areas. Trust and believe that His grace is sufficient. He will continue to prune and work in and through you. Do not beat yourself up for the things He is working in you to help you let go of. It will happen. Lean on His grace through the process. 🙏🏽💖
Thank you so much for the sweet comment. I needed this. You are a blessing. God bless you🙏🤗
