Just as He Said

“But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said! Come, see the place where He lay.” Matthew 28:5,6, Berean Study Bible.

As the angel of the Lord announced the resurrection of Jesus to the two women searching for Him, the angel said, “He has risen, just as He said.” In a time of great pain and suffering around the world, we must remember Jesus is alive. We must remember Jesus keeps His promises. Jesus rose from the dead just as He said He would. He will continue to walk with you and help you, just as He said would. He will continue to keep you close to His side and teach you His ways, just as He said. As you put your trust in Him, He will continue to demonstrate His love and power in every area of your life, my sister, just as He said!

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for dying in the cross and rising from the dead with power as you said you would. Show yourself strong in my life just as you did when you rose from the dead. You are True and Faithful, my covenant-keeping God. Help me trust you to do what you said. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
