My sister, give Him no rest!

“Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray at all times and not lose heart: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected men. And there was a widow in that town who kept appealing to him, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a while he refused, but later he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect men, yet because this widow keeps pestering me, I will give her justice. Then she will stop wearing me out with her perpetual requests.’ ” And the Lord said, “Listen to the words of the unjust judge. Will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He continue to defer their help? I tell you, He will promptly carry out justice on their behalf. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” Luke 18:1-8, Berean Study Bible

My sister, God wants you to keep coming to Him about that situation that’s bothering you. He hears you and He will not defer your help. Crying out to God seemingly for the millionth time doesn’t mean you lack faith. You know He is the only one who can do something about it, and that is actually a demonstration of your faith. Give Him no rest until He does what He said He would do for you (see Isaiah 62:7).

Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking to my heart. I choose to continue to cry out to you even if it seems like I’ve asked hundreds of times for you to save, heal and deliver; I’m going to keep on asking because you are the only one who can do something about this situation I face. I know you will respond in your perfect timing and in your perfect way, yet I will not give up on crying out to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  3. Sister Kesha and DOTK Family, I do hope you all know that how these devotionals bless so many and encourages all with their individually walks with The Lord. These spur each daughter of The Father on to having a closer relationship with Him, and want for His Holy Spirit to come into each of our lives to be lead and guided, ordering our steps as we acknowledge Him in every situation that He shall direct our paths!!! To want to know The Father, To accept The Son, Jesus Christ, and what He did on Calvary, and to know The Holy Spirit, the Comforter, Intercessor, and Advocate for us!! I will not give Him rest!! I was told by many leaders, pastors in the church that as I continue to go to The Lord about the same thing that I’m not acting in faith because I’m going to Him about the same thing and being repetitive about it. This is confirmation for me that The Lord knew that I know He is the only One who is able to do anything about any situation. So many of these leaders/pastors with so many others in the church have made me feel bad by saying this to me and not the willingness to help. For them having respect of persons helping only those they want to help and not others. Bringing division, strife, competition, envy, and jealousy in the church. This happens between members by telling the other person they helped, that the person they didn’t help. They are jealous and envious of that helped member that was helped because of their relationship with that leader/pastor, which is far from the truth. Those individuals believe the leader/pastors because they have known them longer and believe it’s the truth.
I agree with your prayer and ask for pray for the situation that I have discussed in this devotional. I will be intentional with my prayers and I ask for intentional prayers for these situations inside the church. Pray for me a pure heart and conscious with The Lord. I have been healing by forgiving and still loving with grace and mercy that is giving to me to share with them.🙏🙏🙏
