My sister, God is going to upgrade you!

“The LORD rewards those who are faithful and righteous…” 1 Samuel‬ ‭26‬:‭23‬ ‭

I’m not big on material things at all. I think diamonds are pretty, but I don’t have to have them to be happy or to feel good about myself, which is why I didn’t mind when my husband proposed to me 20 years ago with a ring that cost $75. He could’ve wrapped a piece of grass around my finger, and I would’ve been happy. But when he got down on one knee on New Year’s Day in 2020 to tell me how much I meant to him and how much I deserve the world, I cried. I opened the jewelry box he gave me and saw a beautiful ring!

My sister, you and your husband may have started your life together with not even two pennies to rub together, but you stay faithful to God and your man, and God is going to bless you with a beautiful upgrade in every aspect of your life. You may be single right now, and have been serving God faithfully. My sister, stay faithful to your Father God, who is your King and your Husband. He is going to dress you. He is going to put a ring on your finger and a royal crown on your head. He is going to reward your love and sacrifice and your faithfulness to Him, and your family.

Prayer: Thank you, Father, for helping me stay faithful to you, to my husband, my children, and to my purpose. I’m not doing it for the reward, but I thank you for it. I trust your perfect timing and your perfect way. Help me continue to serve you with a right heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. This made me smile, not relevant for me as I’ve been married 65yrs, will be 66 years in June if we are both still here, if you could pray for my husband that before he dies he has given his life to Jesus, he is now eighty nine and not in good health, I surrendered my life to Jesus back in 1985 at the age of 47yrs, this is the longest I’ve written on DOTK, I pray God blesses you all that are in the years of your marriage…..

    1. I will be praying with you 🙏🏽 As I am praying the same prayer for my future husband! It is so by faith and by faith it is already done!

  2. The covenant of marriage is beautiful when it’s a divine connection, not perfect, but perfect for one another which is revealed with time, through test, trials, ups/downs as GOD the solid foundation!!!

ABBA in this season of singleness may I trust in your leading and properly steward this season with grace in faith🦋

  3. To all single women I would remind them, as the Bible says, BE YE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED. In everyway. Make it a priority to know how you both think on the important aspects of life, DO you both believe in God and put Him first; your finances..and no secrets here; work ethics; children and home, just to name a few. Do not rush into this. Prayer will help you. Ask God for discernment. Blessings.

    1. The unequally yoked verse refers to two people working together, such as business partners, not marriage.

  4. Amen Glory to God hallelujah thank you father God for this devotion thank you in spite of it all I stay faithful and true to my ex, and pray for him in spite of everything, but God is so awesome in the mist of everything, and I have asked God to guide me and direct me in the right relationship that he wants for me God is good in the midst of it all and thank you my sister for sharing this devotion in prayer. God bless you and keep your relationship strong with God🙏🏾.❤️🌹🙏🏾

  6. my wifey i provide a lot for her as she has immigration issues. I pray it will be true that eventually money will not be a problem, a curse and cause for worry, but a blessing. I have a mustard seed of faith because the pressure can be depressing sometimes. (im female too i interpret the Bible the amplified version).
