One day the Lord asked me, what is your earliest memory of Me demonstrating My love for you? I said when I received you in my heart at 12 years old at the church revival. He then said I need you to think further back. He took me all the way back to my birth. He said I was with you when you were alone in an incubator for four months as a premature baby. I made sure the doctors and nurses took great care of you. My angels sang to you. I was there comforting you while you were in foster care for those four months after leaving the hospital. I made sure the staff was kind and caring. I saved your mother and helped her get stable so she could care for you. Then the Lord walked me through every moment of my childhood and my teen years until now. Today, He says, daughter, your entire life is a demonstration of My intense love, My special care, and My intentional grace.
What is your earliest memory of when the Lord demonstrated His love for you? Take a moment to think back. Let the Lord guide you through your life and show you that He was with you in every moment from your birth to now. Way before you surrendered your life to Him, He was right there. Hear Him say, daughter, your entire life is a demonstration of My intense love, My special care, and My intentional grace.
Now would be a good time to say, thank you, Lord. You were with me in my mother’s womb. When I took my first breath, you were right there. You made sure nothing would stop me from being here. Before I knew anything about you, you knew everything about me, and you still loved me. You demonstrated your love in how you comforted me, and helped me get through every moment of my life. Thank you for your intense love, your special care, and your intentional grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I too, was born premature. As a daughter of the King of kings, I went through a lot, it seems never ending. I come to realize that as I would always ask why me (even) when I did know the Lord) the Lord was/is holding my hand, me up and strengthening me daily to keep going. I believe if it wasn’t not for the Lord, God Almighty, I would not be here but here I am trusting the Lord to one day, just one day to have peace, a long standing breakthrough. Beautiful photographs, Sister Kesha. Thank you for this devotional, as it reminds me how tender and loving our Father is to us. It also made me think back on my own life, and I remembered certain times, even from childhood when He showed me His presence. I didn’t know it back then, but I sure do now!!
Wow it good to be reminded every time by the Lord! I remember reading this one early this yr. And it Wowed me b/c I had just finished sharing with a friend that I was visiting my testimony of weighing 1 lbs and being in the hosp in the incubator for 3-4 mths. My mom was only 18 in a new country and didn’t know English. I’m 53 yrs old now TGBTG ! And she recently confessed that the Drs had to call her to come pick me up. Surely God as you shared was taking care of me. I took my moms confession as a sorry, but I couldn’t believe that at that tender age I didn’t get nurturing from my mom but daddy (God) gave it to me. Thank you for sharing n being obedient. The Goodness of God ! ALL MY LIFE HE HAS BEEN FAITHFUL 🙌🏽😇❤️
