My sister, you can do it!

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength” Philippians 4:13, New Living Translation.

Years ago, in a conversation with my son who was six years old at the time, he said:

Him: Mommy! Can you fix me something to drink?
Me: Ok, hold on son.
Him: Mommy!!!!!! I need something to drink!
Me: Son, I only have one set of hands. If I had four hands, two would be over here helping with the TV, and the other two would be over there fixing you something to drink.
Him: I know Mom. I know you’re not an octopus.

My son is hilarious. In his precious mind, I can do everything. However, after hearing of my limitations and how I only have two hands, he suddenly realized that mommy’s not an octopus, and that I am in fact limited in my natural human ability. But isn’t it encouraging to know that there are no limitations in God? Nothing can limit what you can do through Christ. You have limitless potential, power and ability in Him. When we allow Him to fill our lives, there are no limits to how high we can go in Him, how far we can reach, and how much we can accomplish for His glory.

My sister, whatever God has told you to do, you can do it with the help of the Lord. Whatever responsibilties He has given you, you can do it with His help. You are anointed by God to do great things for His glory!

Prayer: Father, I love you, and thank you for loving me. Thank you for how you minister encouragement and strength to my heart. I receive your grace and I receive your help. Show me what you want me to do and help me do it for your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Read 2 Corinthians 12:9)

However, with You, I can do what You call me to do in Your strength. Lord, You know I need Your grace, wisdom, & strength. Help me to discern & know what You will have me to do. Keep me from leaning on my own understanding and to have the wisdom to discern between your agenda and others. Thank you for Your divine wisdom and guidance. In Jesus Name, AmenπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ
