Not this time.

“Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, Amplified.

Usually, when I feel tired, frustrated, or down, I get away to myself. I don’t want to say the wrong thing to hurt anyone I love. So I distance myself until I feel like Kesha again. But God has told me, not this time. He instructed me to let people in and let them love me. So I am, and I’m being blessed by their love. My sister, don’t distance yourself when you don’t feel at your best. You are not a monster who has to hide away in a cave until you change back to a normal person. God has placed people in your life to love you.

Receiving God’s love means you also receive the love of those He has placed in your life. I say to you the same thing the Lord said to me, “Not this time, My daughter. Not this time. You won’t distance yourself anymore. You won’t isolate yourself out of fear. You won’t be afraid of your responses, and neither will they. You will let your loved ones in. You will receive My love, and the love of those I have placed in your life.”

  1. To God be the glory!! So many of us do this and.that is the wrong way. We must allow God to love us through those times through the people has placed in our lives.

    1. God has truly given you wisdom to share with us. This ministry has been a big part of my growth as a Christian for many year’s. I need to pray about supporting it financially. It’s been in my heart.

  2. Kesha I just want you to know every day for the past 4 years…I think it’s been 4 already…I have looked forward to your devotionals, I loved the time you were doing prayer and missed it tremendously but understood it was what you were called to do…you are anointed and blessed with this precious gift by the holy spirit and His words just keeps blessing me and other women with just the thing we need to read and meditate on that day…sometimes I even go back to one in particular that had a big impact and applies to that day too…I just pray for you and your family and pray that the Lord continue to use you. The comfort, encouragement, strength and light this brings to my life and others is not something we can quantify. Thank you and GOD bless you, multiply you and give you rest and strength.

  3. Wow! I walked this in the past week. I was very low, ready to isolate myself and hide but God prompted me to reach out to a dear friend, like a mother to me. I did and received strength and help to face the battle I live with. God is so amazing!

  4. Wow I really experienced this same situation, not too long ago if you call on the Lord and call on him in sincerity He will come to the rescue always sending people to say what needs to be said . And to do what needs to be done hallelujah.

  5. Thank you sister Kesha for your morning devotion giving all glory to God waking up every morning and sometimes at noon reading devotions having that love connection from Daughter of the King Ministry it’s been a blessing and God gets all the glory Thank you and may God continue to bless this ministry in the name of Jesus Amen β€πŸŒ·βš˜πŸŒ·β€πŸ™πŸ½

  6. I must admit I’m a hider and protector not letting a person in. However I agree with this. Without the raw of intamcy whether friendship or dating, how can we let others we trust in, how can we grow without the raw if we lick our wounds alone. However, Even people don’t always give the perfect response so its God first even easier said then done
