“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” Ephesians 3:20, NKJV.
The Lord says, “He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that ___(put your name here)___ can ask or think, according to the power that works in___(put your name here)___.”
We serve a mighty God who will go far above all that we have ever hoped, pictured for ourselves, or imagined, and He wants us to come up higher to see. It’s like a little girl standing on her tiptoes eager to see the parade, then her father picks her up and sits her on his shoulders. Now, she has a better view.
God sees you standing on your tiptoes eagerly looking to see His glory in your life and to know Him better. He has stooped down and has picked you up, sitting you on His shoulders. All you will be able to do is weep before Him and pray, “Lord, help others to see what I see.” The view is more glorious than anything you could ever imagine.
Yes, He is doing exceeding abundantly above all you have ever hoped for, pictured for yourself, or imagined. He is fulfilling His promise to you and is blessing you to see everything from His view. He is giving you a better view of His vision for your life, a better view of His character and nature, and a better view of the world around you. With this comes a divine responsibility to share with others what you see. It will help create a desire and an eagerness within them and they’ll say, “Lord, pick me up too. I want to see!”
Prayer: Father, thank you for speaking to my heart. Thank you for giving me a heart to know you and a great desire to see more of you in my life. You’ve stooped down and picked me up and placed me on your shoulders so I can have your view. Help me to see what you want me to see, hear what you want me to hear, and receive in my heart what you long for me to receive. Help me to share what I see from your view. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
