“He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalms 107:20
Maybe you heard a diagnosis. Maybe you heard that your quality of life will be diminished, and a list of limitations were set in front of you. The Lord was there when you heard it and He does not want you to receive it. Let it stay on the paper on which it was printed. You do not need to receive any diagnosis as identity, as your lot in your life that you must now work everything around as if it’s a guest in your home. God was there when you heard it, and His truth remains.
As a daughter of God, sickness is not your portion. Healing is your bread. Receive healing that belongs to you. Receive the mind of Christ that doesn’t allow any natural ailments to overpower spiritual law. The name of Jesus is still above every name. The word of God is still spirit and life. And the one who lives in you is still greater than he that’s in the world. Your heavenly Father has sent His word to bring healing into your life. Receive healing. Open the door to it and say, “Hey, healing power of God! I receive you! Come on in!”

I literally prayed about emotional healing TODAY and asked The Lord to show me what needs healing and correction in me. On time God.

Very timeous as just now I have shared this with my Tita/Nanay (aunt/mother). She had been confined since her hypertensive crisis (coupled with her advanced kindey disease, diabetes, high uric acid and many more. She cannot sleep as she has been thinking of so many things. I shared with her that maybe God is telling her something when she cannot sleep. But since Nanay is already 75, has poor eyesight and since English is not our native tongue, it would be near impossible for her to grab her phone and look for a devotional. Like an epiphany, it dawned on me at this hour of dawn that perhaps it is God’s will that I, unworthy as I am, be the instrument to share His precious words of healing, encouragement & assurance to my Tita/Nanay, she who has been my primary caregiver since I was born, who took care of me while my biological mother worked for our needs, who reared me after my real mother’s passing, who fought for guardianship for me so she and uncle (their elder brother) would be legally court-appointed to have custody of me so they can better support me. Maybe the girl who once hated English and who came to fall in love with it was meant to undergo all that for these very moments: that all my faculties may be harnessed to share God’s Word with my Nanay. To be the Lord’s channel and vessel though I myself am frail and inadequate, this is such an awakening. When you have a moment, may we ask if you could please pray for my Nanay’s recovery and healing. Her name is Maria Ematila. Please pray for me as well as her primary caregiver and companion at home as I, Janna Mary, too have ailments that must be overcome. Dearest sisters in Christ, thank you for the gift of your ministry to us all, Duaghters of the King of the Universe.
Wow. I thank you for this timely devotional. I believe that I am healed. It is never what people say because God’s Will is final. This devotional helps me refocus my attention on the Lord’s promises. They are Yes and Amen. For the Glory of God. Blessings, Shalom and Agape πππ½β₯οΈπππ½
