Realize how precious this time is.

“My times are in Your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me” Psalm 31:15, Berean Study Bible.

(From a conversation with my husband)

Him: The days we are in, they are precious. We won’t get them back.

Me: Yes, I keep hearing the words “time” and “precious.” I keep hearing God say this is a precious time in your life; don’t just let it go by you. Just like when we were in college and when we were dating, we look back at those days and say to ourselves, that was a precious time in our lives.

Him: Yes, when we realize how precious those days were, we realize how precious these days are that we’re in now. You may not have maximized last year, but you can maximize this year. You may not have maximized yesterday, but you can maximize today. The plans, the dreams, the inklings of what can be, decide to do them. Do it for God, do it for the lost, do it for yourself because one day there will be no more time left.

Prayer: Father, thank you for speaking to my heart. This time is precious for your people. Father, help me see and understand how precious these days are and maximize them. Help me to make an impact in this world for your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Read Ecclesiastes 3:1)

  3. Ladies, how to deem your time as precious when your all ” tired out” being a mom of 3 with my youngest being 1month I’m exhausted and irritated to the max. I fight to tell myself this time is precious when I have to be handling a fussy baby all day long and my other kids need my attention too. My walk with the Lord is just on pause i guess. I feel so alone like God is mad at me cuz i cant surrender to his will. It feels like one more thing I have to on my never ending to do list. Im so tired. And im so tired of feeling lost and hopeless. I don’t wana acknowledge that time is precious cuz than that means time is short. I dont want it to be short. Im barely 27, i wana grow up still watch my kids grow grow old with my husband. But i know Jesus is coming back whether i want him too or not. And what is wrong with me? What kind of Christian doesnt wana look foward to Jesus return or heaven? Im so desperately confused and lost.

  4. Live each day like it’s your last. Don’t know when we will see another day, (PUSH). Pray Until Something Happens that’s all we can do.
