So glad they prayed.

“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

There’s a song that blesses my heart every time I sing it…

There’s no demonstration of love that is more powerful than to pray for someone else. I mean really pray from the heart. There was a time when I was lost and confused, but someone prayed for me. There was a time when I was depressed and suicidal, but someone prayed for me. I am the result of many heartfelt and fervent prayers that have gone up for me through the years.

My sister, don’t ever underestimate the power of your prayers to God on the behalf of someone else. Don’t ever think you’re wasting your breath, wasting your time, or wasting your efforts. Don’t ever think someone is too far gone for God to change them and do a great work in their life. Keep reaching heaven with your prayers.

I believe when we get to heaven, we will see the result of our prayers and will wish we had prayed more often.

Prayer: Father God, you are my mighty God, and I thank you for the power of prayer. Thank you for the access I have before your throne through Jesus. This is not a waste of my time or my breath. I know you are ready to hear me and work on my behalf. I pray you bless my loved ones with an encounter with you. Bless those who are lost in this world to see their need for you. Bless our nation and all countries with a mighty move of your Holy Ghost. Guide our leaders and elected officials. Let the knowledge of you cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
