“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10
The Lord knows just the right amount of heat and pressure to allow to break us, but the breaking is not the end. God will use everything we’ve been through in this life to bring out the very best in us and bring great glory to His name. He is determined to get the glory from your life, my sister. He has the final say where you are concerned. You can know and rest assured if He is allowing it, He’s getting ready to use it for His glory somehow, someway. The breaking is not the end.
Prayer: Father, I know you are good. You are my faithful Father. I choose to trust in your goodness even when it doesn’t feel good or look good. I choose to trust in your love for me even when it doesn’t feel like love. Break me and use me. I’m your instrument and I yield to you completely. Be glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
