The Christmas Card

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

One morning as I arrived home, a stranger walked up to me and handed me a Christmas card as I was getting out of my car. In haste, she said, “God bless you,” as she walked off. I shouted, “Thank you!” and went into the house. A one hundred dollar bill fell out when I opened the card, and tears immediately began pouring down my face. I ran outside, looking for her, and couldn’t find her. She was gone. I had seen how these things happen to others, but this was the first time it had ever happened to me.

Since I knew how great that moment felt, I decided to do the same for someone else. So I put a one hundred dollar bill in the same Christmas card and gave it to a woman walking in my neighborhood. I told her, “God bless you,” and walked away. The only thing was, she chased me down and thanked me with tears in her eyes. I thought to myself, “No, this is supposed to be one of those angelic-like experiences where I disappear! Don’t chase me down!” HA!

My sister, God knows what you’re going through. He sees your need, and He will provide for you and your family. If He has to touch a stranger’s heart, He will. And when He does come through for you, make sure you pay it forward and bless someone else. It is more blessed to give than to receive (see Acts 20:35).

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that you care for me, and you meet every single one of my needs. Your resources are unlimited, and you have many ways to get a blessing into my hands. Bless me, Lord, not just so I can eat, but so that I can help feed others too. Thank you for providing supernaturally and for being good to me and good through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  3. This encouraged my faith! My good shall supply all of my needs according to his riches in glory🙌 One time I was struggling at Christmas and a few people at work was led to help me out and unknown to them I was praying this verse. When I opened the card this verse was inside. I knew it was a Jesus thing and he heard my prayers🙌🙌🙌 Lately I’ve not been praying as much the enemy has been trying to steal my prayer life sometimes we have to go back and remember the times when you’ve seen God move to keep your faith stirred up. I know I love God and he loves me. I’ve just been through a lot these past few years. But my God will help keep my faith stirred up and my heart on fire. He’s not done with me yet. And he is always faithful as long as we believe Thank you Jesus Thank you Holy Ghost

  7. Amen. GOD has been so good to me and my family. Prior to the pandemic He made a way for my husband and I to gather and store nuts. When the pandemic hit and my husband was out of work for 15 months we DID NOT lack. We bought new furniture for our home during the pandemic, we celebrated birthdays and other milestones with dinners during a pandemic and we sow seeds into our church ministry during a pandemic. Our GOD showed us that He is bigger than a pandemic. Because of Him we had in abundance and we were placed in a position to bless others who did not have. I always pray to GOD to bless me so I can be a blessing to others. I don’t want enough for me. I want an overflow so it can flow over to others. Hallelujah!! The LORD is my shepherd, I shall never lack ✝️🙏💯🤲🙌
