The Simplicity of Christ

“On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water”” John‬ ‭7‬:‭37‬-‭38‬, NKJV‬‬.

The journey to God with our need is as simple as turning our hearts to Him. He’s not far away, He’s right there, and if nothing could keep us from salvation, nothing can keep us from His presence. He came to meet our every need and He wants His daughters to come to Him faster. Faster to the well to draw from Him. Sometimes we don’t know what we need. All we know is our needs are great, and we have a loving Father who is willing and able to meet them. He meets us there in His presence. He sent me to tell you, He came so our joy can be made full. He came so we would lack nothing when we come to Him. He wants to provide what nothing on this earth can give. Let’s not make it complicated. Let’s not be moved from the simplicity of Christ.

Prayer: Lord, help me not be moved from the simplicity of Christ. My needs are great and you are the only one who can meet them. You never make me feel like a burden. I come to you and ask that you minister to my every need. This is why you came. Forgive my fear of coming to you. Forgive my trying to go days without bringing to you those things you came to solve. I receive your great love, your great peace, your great Holy Spirit power overtaking me. Thank you, Lord, you are my need meeter. Help me come to you faster. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Thank you Lord for being there with me and my Family and meeting our needs. And also to the Trippett Family, beautiful family photo Merry Christmas 🎁🎄

  2. I am THIRSTY for You…..
God—you’re my God! I can’t get enough of you! I’ve worked up such hunger and thirst for God, traveling across dry and weary deserts.

So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. | Psalm 63:1-2(MSG)

  3. Thank you for reminding me that I can ask the Lord and it will be given to me with good measure, press down, running over. Blessings, Shalom and Agape 👀🙏🏽♥️📖🙌🏽
