My sister, you and I both have witnessed how the word of God is an anchor for our soul. We have seen how standing on God’s truth brings the lie of the devil to a screeching halt. He becomes silent with every word from God we speak. God’s word hidden in our hearts and spoken from our mouths like never before is what’s needed right now.
As you read the scriptures below, the truth of God’s word will calm your emotions and settle your mind. His word will silence the accuser and make you free.
Read these out loud:
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation–whom shall I fear?
Psalm 34:8 I taste and see that the LORD is good.
Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close when I’m brokenhearted
Psalm 46:1 God is my refuge and strength, an ever-present help

Amen on time word
That was really helpful and FUN!
October can get hard in some ways, so this year part of my solution to creating better memories is that I got a new Amplified Bible. It’s a big square shape, lays perfectly, and does not have the Words of Christ in red, so when memories get in the way, I sit down with a red pencil and mark His Words myself. It’s comforting and fun.
There can be a degree of Spiritual Interference that goes on as well. I am moving forward with practicing my music that came in my dreams a few years ago, and set up my music equipment…so naturally, I have had a few really intense nightmares like I have not had in years. To the enemy I say, “LAME”, and “Just back off In The Name of Jesus Christ!”
There is no way I will be knocked down. These scriptures are great weapons!
So today, I marked all of these Scriptures in my new Bible, while saying them out loud, and had a great time. Many of them are songs that I remember singing years ago. Now I must find those in the piles of old sheet music that I need to organize.
