We are being stretched!

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him” Hebrews 11:6, Berean Study Bible.

To stretch is to be made or be capable of being made longer or wider without tearing or breaking. It is to extend or spread over an area or period of time. In this season, my sister, God is stretching our faith, and the good thing is, we want to be stretched. We are tired of living in fear and are wanting more from our walk with God. We have become more intentional about understanding how to live, more purposeful with learning how to trust God more. Uncomfortable? Yes! But isn’t it exciting to finally turn our backs on fear and embrace a courageous life of faith and trust in God? He will reward us with an expanded vision, a greater capacity to love, an enlarged territory, and a renewed mind!

Declare with me today, “I am being stretched by God, and I welcome it! The Lord is filling me and filling my life. He is challenging me, and I accept every challenge His Holy Spirit gives me. I turn away from a life of fear, doubt, and unbelief, and I receive a life of courageous faith and confidence in my God. In Jesus’ name!”
