We Are Finishers

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” Acts 20:24

It will get tough as we approach the soon return of Jesus, but we can do all things through Christ. The enemy will stop at nothing to try to distract us and get us off our game, but we can make it. We are imitators of God, and just as He always finishes what He starts, so do we. On the seventh day, God ended His work of creation and rested. Jesus finished His work on the cross. God is faithful to finish the work He began in us. Now, it’s up to us to finish the race set before us by God’s grace.

People will allow themselves to be used by the enemy to try to hinder us, but we won’t be hindered. We will keep our eyes and our mind fixed on the Lord. Can you feel His arms wrapping around us now as His daughters? Hear His comforting voice saying, “I’m with you. I’ve got you. Keep your eyes on Me. I am helping you FINISH STRONG!”

In the past, you may have quit everything you started. But that changes right now, today. I declare we are finishers through Jesus. We are made in God’s image and in His likeness. We possess His divine attributes, and one of those attributes of our Father is that He is a finisher!

Let’s speak this today by faith: “I put on Christ. I am a finisher through Him. Just as Jesus finished His work, so will I. I finish what God has instructed of me to do. Like Paul, “none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” I fix my eyes on the Lord. God is with me to help me finish! Thank you Lord! In Jesus’ name!”

  3. Lovely truth. I grab hold of this. I am indeed a finisher in CHRIST. The devil flying about to distract me, but I’m remaining focused and as an imitator of GOD, I’m going to finish the work He gave me…. With his help, I’m going to finish and finish STRONG !! HALLELUJAH!!!!! 💪💪🙌🙌👏👏💯💯🀄🀄

  5. Thank you sister for the word so sweet and the truth that sets us free. I was just going through my dairy and feeling dissapointed as to the number of times I have started a particular walk with God and my inability to ever see any through. Indeed God is close to those that seek him. My sister I tap into the grace upon your life. You are makin impact and changing hearts towards God.   6. Yes, the race is not given to the swift or strong but to those press on until the end. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. As I look up knowing that my help comes from the Lord. For all the Glory belong to Him. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
