“And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would go onward in all their journeys…” Exodus 40:35-37, NKJV.
While in the wilderness and traveling to the promised land, God led His people Israel by a cloud that was filled with His glory by day and fire by night. When the cloud stayed, Israel would remain where they were. When God wanted them to move on, the cloud would be removed from the tabernacle, and Israel would also move.
God shifts and moves, and you have to recognize when He is doing so and move with Him. Just as there are indicators of transition from winter to spring, you will experience indicators the time is up where you are. It was good while you were there. It served its purpose in your life, and God accomplished what He needed to do. Now, it’s time to move.
It’s up to you to accept it when that time comes. Submit to His will when that time comes. It’s not just you hearing things. That still, small voice is the Holy Spirit speaking. Things unwanted can happen when we remain outside of God’s will. It may not be the devil, but rather you’ve stayed somewhere longer than you were supposed to.
Yet, thank God for His mercy and great grace toward us. Just as God moved to ultimately cause Israel to arrive in the promised land He had given them, He is doing the same for you. As He moves, move with Him.
Prayer: Father, I desire to move when you move. Teach me how to recognize when it is time to transition into a new season in my life. According to your word, your sheep know Your voice. Thank you for leading me into the plans you have for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hi, I want to thank the Trippett’s- Dotk creators/writers for being obedient to God. I’m not sure if you are aware of the magnitude at which the Holy Spirit is working through you all, but just know the Lord is working. My job is stressing me out and has been for years, and I tried my best but I have no more energy to keep pushing, which through prayer for me means it is time to move. I am so grateful to God for this timely and specific message. Your decision to be obedient to Christ is a blessing and will continue to reach many and help propel us to walk in faith and wisdom of the Lord.

I was in my kitchen making my smoothie and talking to God, thanking him for all he has brought me through and asking him to open my heart , my ears and my brain to hear him and help me recognize his voice and direction and I knew I needed to get to my room and read my devotional. I usually read before i start my day but my routine got thrown off this morning.

Im being offered an easier way to move or a slightly harder one and my instinct is to go for tge latter because when something is good sometimes it is too good to be true. Id rather get a slightly harder outcome than have one that on the surface seems easy but all that glitters is not gold. Gods timing is best and i guess we shoukd trust our instincts so long as our instincts are not merely unfounded anxiety.
