When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen.

Years ago, I wrote on paper the future I wanted to have. It was to get married, live abroad, and have kids. I placed it in my wallet and read that piece of paper heartache after heartache after heartache.

A few years after writing that dream on a piece of paper, I got married to my husband, moved to Spain, and gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy I have ever laid eyes on. Fast forward to now. I still have that small piece of paper in my wallet, and I give God thanks because I have what I was yearning to have.

Isaiah 60:22 says, β€œWhen the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen.” My sister, do not give up on that dream, be it a career, a break you have been praying to have, a house, a job, a pregnancy. Even when it feels like you are far from having it, continue believing and continue walking by faith, trusting that when the time is right, the Lord will make it happen!

Prayer: Our Jehovah Jireh, thank you for your faithfulness. I pray for my sister reading this right now. Whatever her heart’s desire is, I pray that she receives it in your perfect timing and in your perfect way. Help her not to lose hope or faith. Guide her by your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

  3. “Even when it feels like you are far from having it, continue believing and continue walking by faith, trusting that when the time is right, the Lord will make it happen!” Abraham’s wife got pregnant very late and John’s mom. John’s dad didn’t believe and went dumb. One of the wife laughed and got in trouble for lying to God about laughing (she didn’t believe but it still happened). (If I remember correctly)

  4. Thank you for this word I believe that I will meet and marry my husband this year 2022 in Jesus name I pray πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™Amen. Thank you Lord.

Thank you for a wonderful testimony. God’s word is true. ✝️❀️

  7. That wonderful prayer can also be for a family member. I had prayed a long time for someone wonderful to come into my son’s life. That finally has happened and my son and future daughter-in-law will be married in February of 2022. She also has a wonderful family that really likes my son.

So, yes, God hears us and I am very thankful.

    1. I have prayed for my granddaughter to find a good Christian man. Well it’s happened and his family are Christian and very nice people. They will be married in May of 2022. I am still praying my granddaughter will accept Jesus! God is Faithful. Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers πŸ™

  9. On January 11, 2020, my sister and I prayed constantly that heaven would answer her prayer and that her life of residential and employment searching would come to an end. It did and praise the Lord! On December 18, 2020, her unrest nagged at her for many many years. She prepared herself by studying how to become a tax preparer, a tax agent, and an entrepreneur. On December 18, 2020, my sister and friend signed a contract to work for Liberty Life Insurance Company who are adding a tax component to their office in Maryland. Her time became lost in His.

  10. My prayer is for my son to return home this year. I pray that he will be willing and ready to serve GOD and become a part of a Bible believing church.

  11. Amen! When the time is right, The Lord will make it happen. That is what I believed to have heard for me to write the vision and make it plain, and wait on The Lord for it to happen. Thank you team, another on time devotional.

  13. Amen! I prayed for a new job and a place to move to for what felt like a century. Year after year I was stuck at a job I didn’t like and all the doors were closed no matter how hard I tried. I stopped expecting and stopped believing but kept on praying. I guess to God my faith was like a mustard seed. That same month God gave me a new job and a new home. Praise to God! Don’t give up when it feels like God doesn’t hear you!

  15. Wow!!! GOD is a speaking GOD.
During the middle of 2021 I uploaded as my WhatsApp profile picture a screenshot image of Isaiah 60:22. I edited the image to make it personal so it read: “To my beautiful daughter Stacey: when the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen, ISAIAH 60:22”

With the coming of this new year I strolled through my phone to find a replacement image, but each time I try to change it, I just couldn’t do it. I got this nudging in my spirit to leave it.
Soooo imagine how I feel reading this devotion knowing that GOD is confirming His word to me.
There are couple things which I am believing GOD for, and which I know I have to wait patiently for.

I find strength to wait on GOD because of what He promised me. He is not a man, he cannot lie. I also find lots of encouragement in the beautiful worship song entitled, “Wait on You” by Elevation & Maverick City. I play it almost everyday.

This devotion has truly encouraged me to wait patiently on the LORD, knowing that in His perfect time, He will make it happen for me. All my desires He will bring to pass πŸ’―πŸ€²πŸ™πŸ™Œ

  16. This devotion rebuked me for the times I have wondered when will the time be right. Lord, forgive me for the times I have not waited on you. You indeed know what and when is best.

  17. As I read this devotion, i cant explain it , I felt ‘newness.’ I was and am grateful for it, The title grabbed my attention. I believe it served as a confirmation for me, God wants me to wait, for when the time is right He will make it happen.
