When we lose connection.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

Have you ever experienced driving through wooded areas while talking with friends or family only to lose connection? You say, “Hello? Hello? Are you there?” Some people warn us, “Hey, I’m about to go through some trees, and I may lose you, but I will call you back if we are disconnected.” That’s exactly how it feels right now in so many of our lives. We were talking and laughing with the ones we love, and without warning, they encountered experiences that caused us to lose our connection with them. Hello? Hello? Are you there?

Maybe it’s your child. Maybe it’s your spouse. Perhaps it’s your friend. You feel disconnected from them and don’t know how to regain that connection. Instead of focusing on your feelings, focus on praying them through. Trust God to be with them and guide them through it. This is when you believe the same God who walks with you in your wilderness experiences is walking with them.

Prayer: Father God, I pray that you will be with everyone in my life who is going through wilderness experiences. I may have loss connection with them, but they are not lost to you. You have been my strength and my guide through my wilderness experiences. Be their strength and guide. I trust you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  3. So true, it’s my child that connection isn’t what it use to be. Father, I thank You, for letting me know that You hear my prayers. Father, You are with him as he goes through his wilderness experiences. You know I have been casting my cares about this to You, and I’m learning to trust You to leave them with You. Father, thank You for being patient and long-suffering with me as I’m growing to let go, and let You have it and not keep on messing with it. Thank You, for this encouraging message to me to let me know that You will be his strength and You are with him never leaving him alone. Thank You, for building my faith!!! 🙌🙌🙌

  4. I receive these post daily, shared with me from another wonderful sister in Christ. This post hit home for me and at a time that I am going through something myself. I am called upon as a prayer warrior who is always bombarding Heaven concerning others, even all this week. Today is different. I haven’t even taken off my pj’s and showered yet after the hour of 6:00 pm. (About to though). Today I feel overwhelmed and weighed down after something I thought was good turned out so bad. I feel alone and defeated, in a place that I Never thought I would be in again. Please whisper a word of prayer for me.
GOD Bless You and please continue to shower us with these uplifting and encouraging post.
