Who can find you?

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.” Matthew 13:45-46

When someone abuses you, they don’t see what God sees in you. When someone disrespects you, they don’t see what God sees in you. And to be truthful, if you allow the abuse and the disrespect, you don’t see what God sees in you. The Bible says, “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies” (see Proverbs 31:10). This Scripture is not merely focusing on the woman, but on the kind of man it takes to find this kind of woman. It takes a certain kind of guy to find you, see you and love you. You’re asking, “Why won’t he love me?” Well, he’s not looking for a pearl, he’s looking for a good time. When you’re desperate to be loved or afraid to be alone, this will only attract heartbreak.

Receive God’s love. Lose yourself in Him. Let God show you who you are in Christ. Let the treasure within you enrich you. When you do this, you won’t settle for a guy that knows nothing about pearls, but you’ll wait on the one that recognizes a jewel when they see one and who knows how to treat you.

Prayer: Father God, I thank You for speaking directly to my heart. I receive Your love and the man You have for me. Show me who I am in You. Help me see myself the way You see me. I don’t want to be found by just anyone. Let Your man, Your son, find me and let me add value to his life and bless him. In Jesus name, Amen.

  1. When I read this devotional, it broke my heart, but it blessed my soul. I was proposed to last week. I saw what the person who proposed to me really want it. I refuse to be a silly captive woman. I refuse to be looked upon as a piece of meat. I chose to refuse the proposal. God is good and what He let me know was, that’s not him but he is on his way. I receive this message. God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

  2. Thank you for the word of the Lord to me this morning…..I have waited & waited w/o compromise to be found by the man of God that the Lord has for me. 6. What is you’re married and your husband is the one that is disrespecting and breaking your heart how do you deal with that in seeking God

    1. Thank you for sharing. I’m tired of settling. In order to do that, I have to find out who I am. Finally, I have decided to let God show me the way.

  7. Sisters, I too am a woman who am in a marriage of heartache. Abuse, loneliness disrespect have all been my normal but God has been teaching me to stand up to it. I’ve had to learn to set hard boundaries on his behavior and carry through on consequences while still loving and forgiving him. It is painfully hard but I am becoming stronger. Jesus is my source, strength and anchor in this storm. Our Father does not want His daughters abused!!

  8. Thank you Father for your truth and wisdom. Let us all know our worth in you. I am the daughter of the most high King of Kings. Praise you Jesus my Lord and Savior

I know I am days late in responding but this touched me.God knows how to speak to me and let me know everything will be alright.I have got to start looking at myself as more of a pearl and value myself I am getting there by trusting God more and staying in the word and most of all praying.I thank God for these devotionals. I thought I meet the right one but it was not him again but I will keep the faith. As for Debra trust God about not marrying the guy I to broke off an engagement 2 years ago
It hurt but I had to trust God he knows what’s best.

    1. Better to hurt for a short period & LOVE for a LIFETIME The RIGHT Man…..Than to HURT for a LIFETIME The WRONG Man.
Don’t waste time grieving over someone who didn’t want you or recognize your quality. They just made room for the PROMISE
(👑GOD’S👑 Man👑). And don’t clutch or hold on to something that hurts you ( Wrong man) or something You Know is Wrong (a married man). When you do your eye is so full of the wrong man that you can’t See or Recognize You Boaz (Promise) when HE comes because your too occupied by your pain!
      Waste of TIME!
If You Do You May Miss It!
      As Debra Said,
      TRUST 👑GOD👑!❤
Knowing HE Won’t Let You Miss Any Good Thing! If We Believe, Are In Right Posture, Trust & Dont Focus On Negativity!
      👑GOD👑 IS FAITHFUL!🏆
      HE WAS TO ME!😊🌹

      1. Please Excuse Typo, It Should Read:

Better to hurt for a short period & LOVE for a LIFETIME The RIGHT Man…..Than to HURT for a LIFETIME with The WRONG Man.

  15. Yes I believe that this scripture is speaking about God’s great and abundant love and life that He has given us!! He is constantly overflowing us with His love!! He is my personal Husband and Friend, I love Him with all my heart and He is my world!! He has called me His Pearl and I love the relationship that we have 💞😄💙😊💖😇💗😉💟
