You are a daughter of the King.

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15

“Abba” is a term that expresses warm affection and confidence expected from a son or daughter. It’s not something we randomly say. Only a son or daughter can say, Abba, and approach God’s throne of grace boldly and receive mercy and find grace to help them in their time of need.

Over the course of my life I have struggled with an orphan mentality and did not know how to receive a spirit of adoption. Not having a father in my early years made this struggle real, and it has taken all of Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s word to help me understand that no matter what I’m never rejected by God, abandoned, unwanted or alone. Now I know I can confidently call on my Father God, and He will rush to my aid every time and help me walk in my identity and purpose.

My sister, I pray we will no longer see ourselves as orphans—rejected, abandoned, and unwanted, but as God’s beloved daughters, grafted into His Vine, and brought near by the precious blood of Jesus. We are accepted into His family, and as His daughters, we can cry out with confidence, “Abba, Father!”

Prayer: Abba, Father! I cry out to you! Thank you for loving me. Thank you for wanting me. Thank you for choosing me. I declare I have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear. I have received the Spirit of adoption, and Father I receive your unfailing love for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Read Romans 8:14-17; Ephesians 2:13)

  4. FATHER, Thank You for Adopting me into Your Family of Believers. And even though I was Adopted at the age of 6 months by parents who You sent to take care of me while on this earth …. NOTHING COMPARES to being Adopted by You❣️

  5. Thank you for this safe space. I can identify with the subject matter only too well. Recent I came to realize that my struggles in the past with rejection and abandonment by my Father and mother is affecting my acceptance of God’s faithful love and acceptance towards me. The Holy Spirit is leading me also walk through this. It is comforting to know others too are walking a similar journey to victory.
Victory is ours because Abba, Our Father has made it so. Lets us claim it and walk as if it is so.
Thank God for this ministry as you are annointed to break down walls that separate us from a true connection with the Father of Light and eternal life. Im excited and hopeful for deliverance, freedom, peace and a promised abundant life. Praises!! Much love sisters 💛 💗 ❤ 💓
