You are a quiet beauty.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” Ephesians 2:10, NLT.

You are a quiet beauty
flooded with grace
the light of God shines
upon your face
you are drenched with His love
a treasure
enriched
even when you are weak
my sister, you are strength
alone, no never
you are God embraced
His glory is seen
even in your mistakes
a servant’s heart
beautiful work of art
you’re His masterpiece
blessed where you are
you’re one of a kind
you are His prize
an amazing praise
both tested and tried
though it’s been rough
Lord knows it’s been tough
but God is with you
the one who’s more than enough
you a quiet beauty
flooded with grace
and the light of God shines
upon your face

No matter where you are on your journey, God is at work in your life. You may feel discouraged, but that doesn’t change who you are. You may feel forsaken and abandoned, but that doesn’t change who you are. You may feel bitter and resentful, but that doesn’t change who you are. You are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, so you can do the works, the good things that God preordained, planned beforehand and chose you to do.

Prayer: Thank you, Father! Thank you for speaking poetry to my heart. Thank you for reminding me of who you are, and who I am in you. Thank you for your banner of love over me. I love you and thank you for loving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  3. Father, thank You for Your reassurance!! I love how You love on me and shine Your grace and mercy all about me!! Thank You, for letting me know by Your Holy Spirit that You are giving the power to carry out Your will for my life, that You will be glorified as I’m obedient. Thank You, for letting me know I’m in this place of preparation to purge me from the sins that so easily beset me and cultivating Your fruit that it will shine through as I rely on Your Spirit growing, building me up into the salt to salt the earth where You want me to assist in flavoring those You have assigned me to. Father, to be the light shining in dark places, and being the quiet beauty that You want me to be. Father, speaking when You tell me too and being quiet when You tell me too as well. Father, work on my heart to where I just don’t say it with my lips and my heart is far from You or just out of it being a ritual. But let me doing all things in sincerity of heart to reach hearts as I become a good steward with being complete in You.

Sister Kesha, thank You for the reminder of who our Father is and how He knows us and wants us to prosper in all ways not wanting any to perish.πŸ’•πŸ’πŸ’œπŸ’•πŸ’πŸ’œ

  4. I am who the Lord says I am. I am His beloved love, a new creation in Christ Jesus. This is awesome. I believe with thanksgivings this prophetic devotional poem. Blessings, Shalom and Agape. πŸ‘€πŸ™πŸ½πŸ“–β€

  5. I needed this so much today. As someone who has insecurity issues, it is so hard to learn to accept that you are His and that He created everything including me, beautiful. I am enough. I am thankful that I am His and that He is mine. This is so moving. I need to accept His thoughts for me and not my own. Love this!

  6. Sister Keisha,
The poem at the beginning of this devotion needs to be a song if it isn’t already. It is a piece that we need to sing from our hearts, so it will get down on the inside of us, so that we can pull it up when we are feeling as though we are not enough. Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful!
    In Christ love,
    Donna J. Davis

  7. An inspiring devotional, Thank you father God for loving me and taking care of me the way you do in Jesus name Amen πŸ™
