“So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom” Luke 12:32, NLT.
Let’s settle this within our hearts this morning of how tremendously blessed we are. It’s not when we get the desires of our hearts that we will then become blessed. No, we are blessed right now! Discontentment tells us we need this or that before we can truly be happy. Only to find that when we finally get those things, we are now on to the next thing. Never truly satisfied.
The people of Israel wandered in the desert for forty years, looking to reach the land that God had promised. Their hearts were full of complaints and murmurings. They were frustrated with God, with their situation, upset with Moses, and at each others’ throats because they couldn’t see how blessed they were. Although living in tents isn’t the best situation, living in Christ is. They had forgotten their rich heritage and their mighty God.
If you know the King of kings. If you walk with the Lord of lords. If you have a real relationship with Almighty God and His Holy Spirit lives in you. If you can go to Him anytime you want and receive strength and the peace of the Lord. If you are a daughter of the King, washed and redeemed, then my sister, you are blessed!
So very blessed!
Prayer: Father, you are so good and faithful to me and I praise you. Thank you for all that you have done for me and my family. I reject discontentment. I choose to walk throughout this day with a grateful heart. I have nothing to complain about and nothing to murmur about. I could be dead, but I’m alive in Christ seated with in heavenly places in Christ. I could be lost, but I’m found in you. This means more to me than any material benefit. I’m your daughter and you are my Father and I’m deeply content with that alone. Father, you’ve already done so much and I love you. Amen.

I AM BLESSED!!!!
