You are So Loved

“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life” John 3:16, Amplified.

I once heard an evangelist say you’ve never been loved until you’ve been so loved. She would preach with a smile on her face, a song on her lips, and a pep in her step. She looked so loved. Watching her with admiration, I thought to myself, boy, I would love to have that kind of confidence in God’s love one day.

My sister, there’s something wonderful that takes place in our hearts when we begin to know and understand how much God loves us. Jesus took our punishment for our sin; we are so forgiven. His body was beaten and bruised for us; we are so healed. Jesus conquered death and was raised to life again; we are so victorious. No matter how you feel right now and no matter what you’ve done in your past, our Father has done a new thing in you inspired by His great love for you.

Even when you can’t comprehend why He loves you as much as He does, receive His love anyway. Walk in the reality of that love. Let it put a song on your heart, let it give you a pep in your step and a smile on your face. I dare you to walk throughout your day looking like a so loved daughter of the King! I dare you to bask and roll around in God’s love today!

Say from your heart: “I am so loved by my heavenly King. My Father is crazy about me. I am forgiven and so washed and cleansed. Praise God, I am so healed, and made whole. I am complete in Christ, and so victorious through Him who loves me. I gladly receive my Father’s great love and I choose to walk in the reality of that love everyday. I will walk in the freedom that comes from knowing I am so loved. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”
