“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7
My sister, you may have used this time of quarantine to plow through online articles, trying to understand why you feel the way you feel, why you do the things you do and think the way you think. Or maybe you’ve visited the doctor because you want to know what’s going on with your mind and body. When you discover information and the root cause of any physical or emotional pain and dysfunction, you must be reminded of this truth. You are spirit, you possess a soul (mind, will and emotions), and you live in a body. The body you have is not who you are. The thoughts and feelings you experience are not who you are. You are spirit, and in your spirit is where Christ lives, rules, and abides. Your spirit has been made new through the transformative power of Jesus Christ. The Lord rules and reigns over your spirit and He will rule and reign over your mind and body as He gives you more and more understanding of His Word. He has the final say over your life, and you will continue to be a beautiful testimony of His grace and glory!
Prayer: Father, thank you for your truth, your wisdom, and understanding. I am who you said I am, I have what you said I have, and I will do what you said I would do. Father, everything you say about me is true. Cause my mind and body to come into alignment with the truth of your Word, and let no weapon formed against me prosper. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
