You can do it without them.

“For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you” Isaiah 41:13, New Living Translation.

My sister, at each point of transition, you may find yourself asking God and asking yourself if you can do what God has purposed you to do, if you can be what He’s called you to be, and asking God and asking yourself how can you enjoy the new place without those special people who are gone. Maybe your mother or father are gone on. Perhaps it’s your husband and bestfriend who have passed. Maybe your sister or brother is no longer in your life, and you are finding it challenging to move forward without them because you feel you need their love, words of encouragement, and support. But God, He knows where you are, and He is meeting you in this place. He is infusing you with His strength and giving you the grace you need to keep soaring and making progress. God is with you, my sister, holding your hand as you go into places you’ve never gone, experiencing the joy of His blessings.

Prayer: Father, thank you for speaking to my heart. You are my loving Father. You know where I am, and you’re here with me to help me. I receive your love, I receive your grace, and I receive your encouraging words. I receive the help of your Holy Spirit to move forward into being who you’ve called me to be and do what you’ve called me to do. Those I deeply miss are gone on, but you are my strength, and my trust is in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  3. Oh WOW!!!! What a timely WORD , JESUS!!!! I’M SO GLAD HE KNOWS ME. THANK YOU RUTH, MY SISTER IN THE LORD FOR SHARING SISTER KIMBERLY’S POST I WAS JUST REMINDED OF THIS BOOK I HAVE TO FINISH READING IT BY PASTOR SHERYL BRADY “YOU HAVE IT IN YOU” ❤️ THANKS FATHER FOR CONFIRMING YOUR INSTRUCTIONS. GLORY TO JESUS.

  4. I needed this today. In the past 3 years I’ve lost my husband, my mom, and my brother. In the few years before that I lost my dad, a favorite aunt and uncle, and a cousin. The only person left in my family is my sister. It has been devastating. I am still rebuilding. But God is faithful! I needed this reminder. Thank you so much!

  5. Yes, Father! Thank You for being my Strength, my Help, and LORD!!! To be honest, I never had a support system to where people have told me I can do it. I have always had to encourage myself and that’s how I got afraid because if I was to get down, who was going to help me up. Father, You have always had me, holding me up with Your righteous right hand being so “Faithful!!”😭😭😭 So, I’m continuing to ask for Your grace and Your encouragement with Your Spirit to move me forward. I receive everything You have for me because now my confidence is growing in You and know it’s not because of me anymore. You’re so patient and so much more, Father, You will do whatever it takes to get Your child attention! You left the 99 and came after me. It’s Your “reckless love!” Thank You, because I was prideful and selfish. But, I thank You, Father, for a changed heart and a renewed mind and You’re not done with me. You keep on dressing me in Your characteristics. My grandmother’s I lost was my cheerleaders and when they passed, there was only You, Father. Thank You, for better relationships in my family for they have really grown and I’m grateful and thankful for it. But, it’s been You all along. 🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️
I love You, Father, because You first loved me and You’re still teaching me to love myself and who You want me to be. Let Your will be done in my life. In Jesus Name.

Sister Kesha, this is another reason these devotionals from a sister in the faith is a blessing. Thank you. 💕💐💜💕💐💜

  6. Yes, it is a struggle. My sister and I lost my parents and all the rest of our 7 siblings, two years apart from each other. Now my sister has moved many states away and my youngest daughter also, so there are many days I struggle but I know my God has me and He has them. Without His precious love and hope it would be hard to face the tomorrows.

  7. It is a good thing to know the Lord that will never leave or forsake us. We will never be orphans in the storms. It maybe lonely as many have moved into a different season of life, whether they are still living or transitioned. May the Lord strengthen me continually to run my race through His Mercy and Grace. Keeping my eyes on Him and not the world until we meet again face to face. Thank you for this devotional. Blessings, Shalom and Agape. 👀🙏🏽📖❤
