You know Him, and you will be strong.

“…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32b

While hiding in a cave, the Lord asked the prophet, Elijah, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” He had just called down fire from heaven and had proven all of the prophets of Baal to be false. However, Jezebel’s death threat caused him to run for his life. Nowadays, there are people under the influence of demonic spirits whose number one goal is to bring down mighty men and women of God and send them on the run. But the Bible promises that they who know their God shall be strong and do exploits. That is you, my sister, and that’s me. We know that our God is mighty, holy, and sovereign. We know the faithfulness of our Father and no one can alter His plans and purpose for our lives. We’re not hiding in some cave because of a threat; we will continue to be strong and do exploits for God’s glory. The same God who was with Elijah is with you and me!

Prayer: Father, thank you for speaking to my heart and encouraging me by your Holy Spirit. I rebuke fear, and I receive the truth of your word. You are with me, and you are for me. You are my mighty fortress and my shield. The weapons of the enemy may form, but they will not prosper. When I want to run and hide, help me stand still and see your salvation! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
