You were so worth it!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16, NKJV.

As darkness covered the earth, Jesus took upon Himself all of our abusiveness, our addictions, pride and unforgiveness, our sexual sin and idolatry. All of it was laid upon Him and He breathed His last breath. The veil in the temple was ripped, the keys to hell were taken, and Jesus rose with all power in His hands. Now, there is nothing, absolutely nothing, separating us from our Father. What a beautiful display of His love, my sister!

Because of Jesus, you can have a real relationship with a holy God! Because of Jesus, you can be made His daughter! Because of Jesus, you don’t have to turn to anything destructive to take your mind off the pain. You don’t have to go from relationship to relationship looking for what can only be found in Him. Because of Jesus, you no longer have to try to survive; you can thrive and live a rich and fulfilling life. The price has been paid and it wasn’t easy, but you were so worth it!

Prayer: Father God, I stop everything I’m doing right now, I lift my hands and I lift my voice and I give a shout of praise! Hallelujah! Thank you for sending Jesus. Thank you for your sacrifice. Because of Jesus, I am able to pray to you right now and have this wonderful relationship with you that I treasure. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Father, for your beautiful display of love! Help me share your love and what you’ve done for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
