You will not be intimidated but motivated.

β€œFor God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control” 2 Timothy 1:7, Amplified Bible.

One evening my daughter came to me and told me that she was being bullied at school. As I was talking with her, Holy Spirit was talking to me, letting me know we as grown women have bullies too. The spirit of a bully tries to intimidate us and make us feel afraid to be anything, do anything or have anything. In that moment, I decided I would do what I was challenging my daughter to do, and face my bullies. I would not be intimidated but motivated.

Whether it’s bullies of the mind or bullies in your life, God wants you to know you can face them with His help. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. The Lord is with you. He will vanquish your enemies and show you that He is on your side! He will show you that He has your back! Yes, whether you are a young woman or a seasoned woman, know that your bullies are no match for God. He will give you victory over them so you can go on and be all that He has destined you to be!

Prayer: Father God, I come to you the same way a little girl goes to her father. There are bullies trying to intimidate me and tell me what I can’t do, who I can’t be and what I can’t have. I receive the courage of Jesus to stand up to them. I receive the strength of Jesus to push ahead into your purpose and plan for my life. I receive the help of Jesus to not be intimidated but powerfully motivated. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
