My sister, I don’t know what happened that completely rocked you, but God is fully aware of every detail and He’s concerned about you. If you put a woman through enough hurt, she can begin to transform into someone God never intended her to be. But you’re not just any woman. You’re God’s daughter, and you’re my sister, and no matter what you’ve endured, your faith will remain in God. Your heart will remain turned towards Him, and your arms will continue reaching out to help others.
My prayer for you: Lord, I pray for your daughter, who is reading this right now. I pray you minister to her heart deeply. I pray you don’t let what is happening outside of her get inside of her. With everything in me Father, I pray you are her shield. Stand guard in her heart and in her mind. Protect her, Lord. Her life is in your hands. Her heart is in your hands. Don’t let her become someone she’s not. Help her to stay true to who you made her be. Help her discover more and more your love for her and your character. Keep her close to your side. This devotional is very timely and profound. I am asking the Lord to help me to remain in the spirit as I go through cycles of hurtful situations. My spirit is willing but my flesh is weak. Although I read this today, it spoke volumes. Just this morning before starting my devotional time I wrote in my journal, “Has my heart become harden because of the perceived difficulty I now face or is God shielding it so that I can move forward?” Then here I am now reading this and I get the answer…… I will let my Heavenly Father do what He does best -take care of me- and I’ll keep putting one foot before the other to reach my purpose and destiny……Thank you, Lord, for loving me. 🙌🏽
