You're not an orphan, you are a daughter of the King!

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15

I have talked with many women who struggle in their relationship with God, because deep down they feel as though He doesn’t love them as much as He loves others. They struggle with their identity in Christ because of painful experiences they’ve had. Instead of feeling like daughters of the King, they feel like orphans who are rejected, abandoned and unwanted. This is heartbreaking to me, because no matter how much I try to explain who they are in Christ and who God is and how much He loves and favors them, they just don’t see it yet. So they live their lives unable to confidently call on their Father God, and unable to fully walk in their inheritance as joint-heirs with Christ.

It is my deep longing and prayer that we receive God’s Spirit of adoption. Once we receive the Spirit of adoption, we can then cry out with confidence, “Abba, Father”. We can then approach His throne boldly and receive mercy and find grace to help us in our times of need. We can walk in our rich inheritance as joint-heirs with Christ and fulfill our divine purpose in Him.

For this reason, this ministry was born. For this purpose we release devotionals everyday, hoping that one day every reader will no longer see herself as an orphan in God’s kingdom, but as grafted into His Vine, as accepted into His familyβ€”flaws and all, and as a daughter of the King who cries out with confidence and beautiful conviction, “Abba, Father!”

Prayer: Abba Father! Thank you for loving me and for wanting me. I receive your Spirit of adoption. I say with confidence Abba Father. I receive my rich inheritance as a joint-heir with Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. I can not imagine doubting that God loves me what more must He do after He has given us His only begotten son to die for my sins so that I don’t have to go to hell. Unless ofcourse I don ‘t believe in Jesus or accept Him as my Saviour! God is love and He can’t be anything else. When we start looking at all the things He has given us like life, opportunities, abilities, gifts to become who He has made us to be, I stand in awe and can’t help but just love Him back and thank Him for Who He is and that He loves me unconditiomally. I don’t have to prove myself to Him, just accept the price He paid and learn that nothing can separate me from His love! How awesom that is! Wow I could sing of His love forever!

    2. Awesome, true, true, true. The task is to stay true to walking πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ in it, and if you fall short just don’t walla in the fall. Get up, repent and keep moving forward in Him and with Him. Sometimes we don’t let people know not to have self pity, or take it for granted the “forgiveness” we have in Jesus. JUST DON’T WALLA IN A FALL, GET UP HE LOVES YOU THAT MUCH.

  2. Thank you so much for your daily devotions. They are short and sweet but the message is powerful and always seems to be right on time. 5. I so firmly believe that as men and women understand their place in the kingdom of God, as sons and daughters, the world would begin to see such a drastic change! Women, especially, have such influence on the world around them, be it for good or for bad. My deepest prayers are that as we live, by example, as princesses we will see the woman next to us begin to grasp what an inheritance we have and her heart will begin to long for her Father, the King!

    1. I remember being in that place. A place wondering why God loved me. He showed me that He chose to love me. I still struggled with that truth. Until one day I encountered depression. After walking me out of that situation without even the smell of smoke, I knew once and for all God loved me and had me. Now I AM my Father’s daughter. I AM blessed!!!

ever again. I AM now my Father’s daughter. I AM bless
