Nothing to say at Your feet.

“And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word” Luke 10:39, NKJV.

Sometimes in prayer, I just sit before the Lord. I have nothing to say verbally, yet my heart is speaking volumes. My heart has requests that are beyond what I can articulate what I’m going through. We need the Lord’s help every day, and to sit at His feet and listen for His voice, to be in His presence, is exactly what we need.

Go before the Father in the morning and tell Him you are here. Step away on your lunch break and tell God you came to sit at His feet and hear what He has to say. Sit quietly before Him. Be still and He will remind you that He is God. Don’t allow a lack of words to keep you from spending time with God. When you go before Him, when you bow before Him or lift your hands, and even as you cry, you are in His presence, and the Lord will show up right where you are, and He will minister mightily to your life.

Prayer: Father, thank you that I can come before You. I sit before You right now. Even when I don’t have the words to say, hear my heart. No matter where I am, help me to be still and spend time before you. Thank you for your faithfulness to minister to me today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Amen & Thank You, Lord! for always being available for me. Whether I pray to You or simply sit still, I will do my best to listen for Your voice & be grateful. Please Father, grant us peace ❤️🙏🕊

  2. Thank you for this timely devotional. It resonates with my spirit. I will take the good place like Mary did. May the Lord hear the cries of my heart, see my silent tears, see the situation that I am in, help and deliver me. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom. Blessing, Shalom and Agape 👀🙏🏽♥️📖🙌🏽
