โThen the word of the LORD came to Elijah: โGet up and go to Zarephath of Sidon, and stay there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for youโ 1 Kings 17:8-9, Berean Standard Bible.
God commanded a widow to provide food and water for the prophet Elijah. Her obedience activated supernatural provision for her and her son that lasted throughout the entire famine.
My sister, there is a miracle attached to your obedience. Keep being the blessing God has commanded you to be. People may be standing around waiting for you bin of flour to run out and the oil in your jar to run dry, but the Lord had spoken and said that it would not run out, and it won’t.
As surely as the Lord lives, people may be spectating, waiting for you to run out of everything, out of flour, run out of favor, and run out of strength. When it looks like you are working with your last, and you’ve run out of ideas, run out of patience, and run out of money, the Lord wants you to know, you wonโt run out. The Lord your God is about to increase you all the more. Keep being the blessing He has commanded you to be!
Prayer: Yes, Father God, I receive your encouragement to my heart and mind. Thank you for blessing me with strength to obey you and then rewarding me for doing what you graced me to do. You’re such a good Father, and I love you. Bless my storage house. Bless my oil to never run out. Bless me Lord and make me a blessing in the earth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
