You are forgiven.

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:7

I was in the car this morning and “I can only Imagine” came on the radio. When the part about, “on my knees will I fall” came on, tears rolled down my face. For a moment, I thought, “How can I kneel in your presence when I’ve committed so many sins?” Immediately thereafter, I saw a bright light surround me in the car.

Then, the Lord’s voice spoke to me deeply. He said. “You have already been forgiven. Not just now, but you were forgiven years ago when you went down on your hands and knees and asked Me into your heart. You have been forgiven. That day you asked Me for the forgiveness of your sins, I immediately forgave you. Not just the small ones but even the ugliest of them all. All forgiven. For your former shame, I gave you a double portion. And when you sin again, which you will, as long as you repent and turn from you sin, I will, again, forgive you. The bad and the ugliest of them all. Washed in My blood. Forgiven and redeemed. And, on that glorious day when you see me face to face, you will be made anew. In My presence, where you will experience fullness of joy, said the Lord.”

After that moment, the host on the radio said, “Stop remembering your sins. The Lord has forgiven you. Just receive His forgiveness and be grateful that He is faithful to forgive you.” Chills ran down my arms as I knew the Lord really did speak those things to me.

My sister, I pray if you are carrying around that horrible thing that you did, I pray today would be your day of freedom in the Lord. Bring it to Him. Ask your loving Savior for His forgiveness and let the Lord forgive you, heal you and make you new. He will do it for you and the Lord will never hold it against you. In His wonderful name, I pray for you, Amen.
