“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16, NKJV
Imagine the moment Jesus uttered those words, ‘It is finished?’ As darkness covered the land, He took upon Himself all of our sin, our abusiveness, our addictions, our doubt and unbelief, strife and malice, pride, and unforgiveness, our sexual immorality, and idolatry. All of it was laid upon Him, and the veil in the temple was ripped (see Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 27:51). Now, there was absolutely nothing separating us from our Father. Now, we can go boldly to His throne. What a beautiful display of His love for us!
Because of Jesus, we have a real relationship with a holy Father! Because of Jesus, we are washed and forgiven! Because of Jesus, we are made His precious daughters, born into His Kingdom! Because of Jesus, we no longer have to go from relationship to relationship, looking for what can only be found in Him. Because of Jesus, we can thrive, not just survive, and receive every promise made to us! Jesus has been made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption (see 1 Corinthians 1:30). The price He paid wasn’t easy, but to Him, we were worth it!
Prayer: Father, I stop everything I’m doing right now; I lift my hands, and I lift my voice, and I give a shout of praise! Thank you for sending Jesus. Without His sacrifice, I wouldn’t be able to pray to you right now or have this wonderful relationship with you that I treasure. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for your beautiful display of love! Help me share your love and what you’ve done for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you Jesus for the blood and resurrection so I don’t have to die in my sin. I have been struggling with sin and anger lately. I pray Jesus you help me to finally put this to rest once and for all. I can’t fix it on my own as this devotional has revealed to me. You said it is finished so I give you all of my thoughts and feelings guilt and shame. Help me to walk in the newness of life you died to give me. In Jesus’s name Amen
Lord you paid the price for me. I’ve been struggling with thinking that I have do do it all on my own. But I reality I need your strength, your power. Nothing is done without you. Truly I don’t have to fear. Yet, I’m worried about what tomorrow holds for me. You know my name lord. DO IT AGAIN LORD! 🙏

Good morning Father! Thank You for Your ultimate sacrifice, of Your Son, Jesus The Christ!!! This sacrifice helps me to sacrifice my needs for Your’s! It doesn’t always work for me though, only because of the human in ime sometimes takes over the spirit in me. But that’s when my knowledge of You and the grace and mercy that You give me, kicks me back on track! For that I am so very grateful to You Lord God!
