A pit is a pit, and a victory is a victory!

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

My sister, no matter how deep, no matter how dark, or messy it looks, the Lord is faithful to deliver us out of whatever pit we find ourselves in. Sometimes we minimize someone’s struggle because it’s not as intense as ours, or as deep. But the truth of the matter is a pit is a pit. What are its characteristics? A pit is dark, lonely, deep, and only the Lord can deliver us out of it. No matter our situation, the Lord is faithful to pull us up and out. He is faithful to bless us to stand on top of whatever has been standing on us.

Just like a pit is a pit, a victory is a victory. Just because your victory doesn’t look like someone else’s victory, doesn’t make yours any less important. What are the characteristics of a victory? It’s something that God has given us that no one can take away from us. The Lord has seen our distress, and He has delivered us mightily. He’s put a crown on our head. He’s put a ring on our finger. He’s put a robe on our back. He’s called us, Victorious through Christ! Praise God, and that’s not changing!

Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking directly to my heart. Thank you for delivering me. You are so faithful and true to your word and your promise. You are a good Father and I love you. You saw me and you rescued me. Thank you for blessing me with the victory. I give you glory, honor and praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
