“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19, NKJV.
My sister, your life doesn’t have to fall apart when someone leaves. You may lose a spouse. You may lose a best friend. You may lose a mother or a father, a son or a daughter, but God will always make sure you are well supported and receive the help you need. It will be up to you, then, to receive the help He brings into your life and let yourself be blessed by their presence. And when your presence is no longer needed in someone’s life, when your assignment is complete and your time is up, the Lord will make sure to provide them with all they need. You are not the only who comes alongside someone with love and support, God does too and He has others He will use.
Prayer: Father, thank you for speaking to my heart. Help me trust you when people leave; I know I am not alone. You are with me and you will provide the support I need in your perfect timing. Help me also trust you when it’s time for me to leave someone. I know you will provide for them because you care for them. I receive your help today in all of its forms. You are good and I love you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Loving heavenly Father, I am overwhelmed with pain at the loss of my beautiful son. I am finding it difficult to “give thanks in all circumstances” but I do give you thanks for the honor it has been to be a parent to so wonderful a child. Help me to hold on to you and may there be beauty from the ashes.
