God will greatly deliver you.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

Elijah didn’t stay in the cave. Daniel didn’t stay in the pit with the lions. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn’t stay in the fire. Lazarus didn’t stay in the tomb. Joseph didn’t stay in the prison, and the people of Israel didn’t stay enslaved in Egypt. God delivered all of them out of these places they found themselves in, and God will greatly deliver you. If the Lord had an expected end for Elijah, for Daniel, for Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, for Lazarus and all of the people of Israel, He has an expected end for you.

You are not pitching your tent in the fire. You are not making your bed and lying in your mistake. You are not getting comfortable in the dark cave. You are not getting so acquainted with the den you’ve been thrown into that the lions become your new family. No, no, no! These are temporary situations, and they are still temporary, even if you’ve been there for a long time. God has never and will never give up on you, and the important thing is for you to never give up on yourself. God will do exceeding, abundantly, above all that you can ask or think according to His power working in you. Yes, He will! He’s going to greatly deliver you. Your Father loves you enough to meet you where you are, and He loves you too much to let you stay where you are.

Prayer: Father, be my great deliverer. Rescue me and bless me to see your expected end for my life. Be glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
