God won’t let you forget.

“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10

My sister, God is going to free you so much so that your life is going to look like you were never bound. You are going to be so deeply rescued and miraculously healed by the Lord that no scars will be found. He is going to bless you so immensely that it’s going to appear like you were always blessed. But no matter how far He takes you or how deeply He delivers you, He will not let you forget where He brought you from.

You don’t have to worry. You’re not going to fall into the dangers of pride, arrogance, and forgetting who you once were. The Holy Spirit is going to help you remember. You will walk in divine humility and you will experience a flood of grace. He’s going to help you reach those caught up in the same lifestyle you once lived in. The success will not go to your head, and failure will not go to your heart. You have a divine purpose from God, and you will fulfill it. God will not let you forget.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for saving me, healing me, and changing my course. I was headed for destruction, but you delivered me by pulling me out before it was too late. You have blessed me so much so that no one can tell who I was and what I did. You have washed me so well that no one can see I was once covered in mud. Thank you, Father. Now, I pray you fill me with your love, give me a humble mind, and grace as I go into the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I am a peer support specialist working in recovery and sharing my experience, strength, and hope from being pulled from the dark places of active addiction. I read this everyday to my sisters in recovery and we are all truly blessed by them and they give us hope and strengthen our faith in the love of our lives which is Jesus Christ.
