You are Chosen by God

“You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you…” John 15:16

My sister, you are chosen by God. When God chose you, there was nothing you did to earn it. It wasn’t your gifts, your way with people, or your good looks that caused God to choose you. It wasn’t your business sense or your strength. His choosing you had nothing to do with you of which you could boast and brag or try to work to keep. He chose you, saved you and called you for His purpose and grace simply because He loves you. You were selected and chosen by God for such a time as this. Instead of trying to earn something you never can earn, or trying to keep God interested in you, simply say, “Yes! Yes, Lord I’ll follow you and walk in the path you laid out for me.” You are a chosen daughter of God.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for choosing me to know You and be your daughter. I say “yes” to you and your way. Your choosing had nothing to do with me, and all to do with your divine purpose and grace. Remove all feelings of unworthiness and help me simply receive your choosing and walk in your way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  6. So thankful that He chose me….that takes the pressure off of me to try and measure up…. He knew what who I was, and what I need to carry what he assigned me. He knew I tend to choose what looks good,and not necessarily what is good for me!

  9. I know if it has not been for the Lord, I would not be here. It is such a blessings to know and be chosen by God. Thank you for this timely reminder that I don’t have to work for His love. Blessings, Shalom and Agape. 👀🙏🏽♥️📖🙌🏽

  11. I’m so thankful to be Your daughter and to know You, God, as My Father too. I’m so thankful I responded to Your nudges, and so here I am, going through my 4th big chapter. It’s by far the most challenging season and yet so very rewarding! Just in the past few days things have happened that only you could’ve orchestrated God it’s just amazing how you speak to me. I love it and I just I don’t have words to say to explain how these things happen or what they mean to me, but it’s just You, God working in my life! You are going to bring that vision to pass, though Terry, I wait for it and I praise you in this waiting room.

  14. I am so grateful for these devotionals. God truly is in the atmosphere and I’ve been reading these post for over 2 years. I believe God has a calling on my life and i’m working to answer it. Stepping into motherhood with my first son and navigating life right now in this world, I feel only the desire to draw near to the still waters. Where I may be graced by his face. And this devotional today was yet another reminder of his hand and love for me. Amen
