“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs” Zephaniah 3:17, NLT.
Like a mother that receives you into her arms and sings over you, calming all your fears and comforting you, God sings over you. He is a mother to the motherless. A father to the fatherless. A friend to the friendless. He comforts, gives hope, consoles and yes, He even sings.
Whenever you reach a point in life when you don’t feel at your best, listen for the song that rises up out of your spirit and onto your tongue. Don’t be surprised when the lyrics express exactly what you are feeling. It’s God singing over you with His love.
Prayer: Father, just as mothers sing over their children, it’s a blessing knowing You sing over me. Thank you for how You express Your love towards me in this way. I receive Your comfort and love today. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Good Morning Father,
Thank you for your words to me. Thank you father that you have the final say. Thank you Father that you woke me up this morning and started me on my way. Thank you Father than you have given me today, a new day, to start over, to try again. Thank you Father that I am not who I was yesterday. Thank you Father that you are always walking with me even when it doesn’t feel like it or when I don’t deserve it. Thank you Father that despite what the world thinks of me, I know what You think of me. Father, I am calling into existence that you will show your hand in my new job. I’m in unknown waters, unsure of my capabilities, but I know that you didn’t bring me here if you thought I couldn’t do it. And maybe I can’t do it my own powers alone, but I know that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH YOU. I know that in that hour, You will give me the right words to say, things to write, and things to do just like you did long ago. I thank you that even though in my own power I may be afraid or timid, but if I hold onto your Spirit and your words that you quell and calm every fear, that you have given me the spirit of Power, Love and a sound mind. So I thank you Father and come to you this morning with a repenting and expecting heart. I come to you expecting to show your great hand in my life and anyone else’s life that longs to see it. I can’t wait to say….I made it through Only by the grace the most high Yahweh!

I woke up today to sledge hammers and power drills I’m my apt. Building. It was not a pretty symphony. But thank you keisha for that beautiful word today. That he is the great I AM . that he will truly be what we need him to be. And songs really did rise up in my spirit so I praised the Lord with ALL my heart even though the instrumentals of sledge hammers and power drills could not quench the HOLY SPIRIT at all..
