He will bring your desires to pass.

“Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalms 37:4, Berean Study Bible

If there’s one thing I love about the husband God has given me, He doesn’t forget the things I love, care about, and desire. Once he finds out there’s something I truly desire, he won’t let me settle for anything less. He becomes determined to get me my heart’s desire, even if it takes him years to do it. He remembers.

It is the same with God. He loves you, and He doesn’t want you to settle for anything less than His perfect will. He will get you what you’ve been desiring in your secret place with Him. You’re one with the Lord, so He knows more than anyone the desires of your heart. As you’ve walked with Him, He knows every time you’ve whispered, “Oh, I would love it if…” He knows every time you’ve thought, “It would be such a blessing to…” He remembers every single word you say, every single thing you think about and imagine. He is involved in your daydreams. There may be some things you may have forgotten you desired, but the Lord hasn’t, and He is bringing those desires and dreams to pass.

Continue walking closely with the Lord. Continue pursuing Him and allowing your soul to be satisfied in your relationship with Him. As you delight in the Lord, enjoying His presence, feeding on His word, and learning how to trust Him and rest in Him, you will find your desires beginning to align with His will, and that’s when you will see Him bringing your desires to pass. Because your desires are now His desires. They will come to pass one after the next until your entire life looks like a dream.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for loving me the way you do. You remember every dream and desire in my heart. Help me to delight in you and be satisfied with you, and trust you to bring those things to pass in your perfect timing and in your perfect way In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Could this really be true? It’s so hard to believe that to trust that. I feel ashamed for thinking that. But it’s too hard for me to just accept that. It’s like there has to be some catch attached. That’s what the Lord and I will work on today. The part where I just don’t believe.

  2. Be it unto me as it has been spoken. I believe and receive this timely devotional. Thank you. Blessings, Shalom and Agape 👀🙏🏽♥️📖🙌🏽
