“We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. Then you will not be sluggish, but will imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised” Hebrews 6:11-12, Berean Standard Bible.
I know, you give everything, your time, your energy, your prayers, and the world still appears unchanged. Hearts are still cold as ice and attitudes are still unbelieving. But if God doesn’t forget your labor of love, neither should you. God will not forget the love you’ve shown Him and how you’ve helped others. He needs you to keep the same diligence to the end. He needs you to not become sluggish, slow in obeying Him, or slow in drawing near. Keep the same diligence as in the beginning. Imitate those who through faith and patience are enjoying the promises of God.
Prayer: Yes, Lord, thank you for encouraging me to continue honoring you no matter what is going on in the world. Anything that’s causing me to drag my feet in obeying you, help me lay it aside. You are my primary pursuit. I want you, Lord. Help me keep the same diligence to the very end. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This has spoke to my heart mightily. I have been going through a lot. Dealing with family, coworkers, customers, clients, associates, just relationships in general. Sometimes I feel like I am giving and pouring from empty cup to those that do not seem to be deserving. I have made my mind up that I am not going conform, I am different. My mind is being renewed. Meditating on Christ and His promises over my life. His word is speaking to me more than ever. Out with the old and in with the new.
